Sign up and join us, Debris Free Oceans and UM Physical Therapy students for this month's community clean up. Working together to clean up Wynwood, we will make an impact on the neighborhood, as well as Biscayne Bay and our Miami beaches. Trash eventually makes its way from city centers like Wynwood to our waterways, harming marine life and water quality. 

Meet at 9am at The Wynwood Yard. We will have refreshments available as you arrive (TBD). Grab your cup, trash bags, gloves, pickers, and directions, and we'll make our way through the neighborhood. We'll grab a snack and drink along the way... details to be confirmed soon! End at the Bar at the Yard with more refreshments, TBD. 

Cost is only $20 to participate, and guests will receive an awesome Klean Kanteen reusable cup that will be filled along the way by participating partners! (It will also get you a quarter back on every beer purchased The Wynwood Yard when you bring your cups!) Proceeds raised go to Debris Free Oceans.

The Wynwood Yard will be continuing with monthly community clean ups in the neighborhood throughout the year, teaming up with local non-profits and community partners. 

Our first "unofficial" community clean up was on June 24th with We-CCAAN Teen Leadership, Culture & Service Learning Tours Teen Leadership, Culture & Service Learning Tours and in partnership with Dr Smood, who graciously provided refreshments for the 50 participants along their way. Thank you also to Radiate and della for end-of-the-road sips and bites. 

Our first "official" clean up was a pub crawl pick up, and we partnered with Boxelder Craft Beer Market, Wynwood Brewing Company, Coyo Taco, and Saltwater Brewery. You can check out photos here. 

Each clean up will take place at a different time of day, featuring unique non profit partners, and a different "theme." At each one, participants will gather and walk the neighborhoods along pre-arranged routes to help make Wynwood a cleaner place. Proceeds of partcipation donations will go toward partnering non-profit organizations. 

Bags and gloves will be provided.

Complimentary snacks and refreshments will be provided along the way and after the clean up, depending on that month's partners.
