Join us Wednesdays for live jazz under the stars featuring Miami local music luminaries living in our midst. These shows are curated by Chad Bernstein of Guitars Over Guns. Admission is free. 

On Wednesday, February 28th, Grammy-nominated pianist and composer Alex Brown pays us a very special visit at The Wynwood Yard. Brown frequently performs with his own group and has been a member of Paquito D’Rivera’s ensemble since 2007, performing on and contributing arrangements to their Latin Grammy award-winning album Jazz Meets the Classics. 

Brown has performed in many of the world’s greatest venues including Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City, the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC, and the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City. As an arranger and orchestrator, he has had music performed by premier groups that include the Philadelphia Orchestra.
