Join us Wednesdays for live jazz under the stars featuring Miami music luminaries living in our midst. These shows are curated by Chad Bernstein of Guitars Over Guns.

Jazz at The Yard curator, Chad Bernstein joins Miami jazz drummer, Dave Chiverton with special guest Michael League for an ultra special edition of Jazz at The Yard.

Michael League, a record label owner, Grammy-award winning composer, producer, guitarist, bassist and member of the New York jazz fusion band, Snarky Puppy joins us for a special guest performance while he is in town for the GroundUP Music Fest.Michael is also the organizer of the GroundUP Fest. 

A Miami native, David Chiverton pulls from his roots listening to gospel in his early childhood. A full scholarship to FIU opened more doors for David as he met and shared the stage with artists like Arturo Sandoval, Ingred Jensen, and Nicole Henry. Furthering his career, reach, and repertoire, David held a residency at a Miami club where he played with John Legend and Lil Wayne. David now tours the country and abroad with major talents such as Lauren Hill and John Secada bringing his versatility and virtuoso touch captivating fellow musicians and audiences everywhere. Last but certainly not least, Chad Bernstein, curator of Jazz at The Yard’s weekly line-up and one of Miami’s most sought-after musicians, who plays regularly with Miami gems Spam All-Stars and ¡Suénalo! will also join the electrifying stage. Chad is also co-founder of Guitars Over Guns, a nonprofit that empowers young people through the arts and music.
