The California Honeydrops are playing in the heart of Miami, and we're in for quite the treat! Catch them on the Simple Vodka Stage at The Wynwood Yard Friday, October 20th for an epic free show.
Getting their musical start from busking in the San Francisco Bay Area, the Honeydrops provide more than just a show -- they're an experience. Drawing on diverse musical influences including Bay Area R&B, funk, Southern soul, Delta blues and New Orleans second-line, they've jammed all over the world, playing festivals of all kinds and touring widely across North America, Europe and Australia. The band was honored to tour with Bonnie Raitt on her 2016 North American album release tour, and in the past has been privileged to support the likes of legends like B.B. King, Allen Toussaint, Buddy Guy and Dr. John.
The concert is free (but make sure to RSVP via the ticket link). Donations will also be accepted for Global Giving's Mexico Earthquake Relief Fund to help our brothers in sisters in Mexico. See the ticket options for donation suggestions ($5, $10, $25). The Lone Wolfe food truck, featuring Mexican cuisine, will be having a special this evening and donating a portion of proceeds to the fund.
Miami DJs Le Spam of Spam Allstars and Haitian Hillbilly will also play that evening.
See you at The Yard as we jam all night long (and support a great cause) with The California Honeydrops! #wynwoodyard #liveattheyard #miamimusicevents
